I went to Golden Sunset Resort in Calatagan, Batangas here in the Philippines. It was an awesome experience! The Golden Sunset Resort is by Ricky Reyes. My family went there a few years ago since my mom wrote an interview with Ricky Reyes about the Resort. I seriously don't remember much about the resort when I was a kid. I don't even remember the place at all! The only thing I remember was we were going to this crooked road and the cottage was 2 floors and I swam in a cold jacuzzi. I was like 5-9 years old at that time.
Last weekend my family went again for the 2nd time to the Golden Sunset Resort for Halloween vacation. We weren't able to make any reservations for corregidor so this was our alternative.
I woke up at 7 am last Sunday and did my morning routines (breakfast, shower, etc). We left the house in manila at 10:30. It was a loooooooooooooooooooooooong drive. We were in Tagaytay at 12:45 pm. and we're just halfway through the resort. We ate for an hour at Leslie's Restaurant. We ordered the Tagaytay's specialty: Bulalo. Then I ate sisig :). We then went back to the car and went on for another 2-3 hours drive to the resort. We left at 1 30 pm and arrived at around 3:30 pm.
We checked it and went to our cottage house. We had a resort tour for around 5-10 minutes. the minute we got inside the cottage, my brothers and me went to change for swimming. We were swimming till 7 pm. But at around 5 pm there was the sunset. and i'm telling you it was beautiful. it was bloodshot pretty. Here's some pic of the sunset:

Anyways, The next day we went for a BOAT RIDE!
I woke up in the morning, ate an American breakfast (variety of toast bread with butter, egg, and hotdog) and left for the boat ride. It was a 1-hour experience. I was with my big brother while my little brother was with my dad on the other boat. Paddling the boat was kind of hard since it's an old traditional style boat like fishermen uses in some old culture. But the pond we were using was really meant for boat experiences. it was only around 2- 6 feet low. here's some pic of me and my big bro and dad and my lil bro:

On the first day, we went to their little farm in the resort before we went swimming There were plenty of birds. But I didn't picture them all. Here's my pic with the rabbit and my brothers:
So there: we had swimming, the sunset, the zoo, and the boat ride. That's probably it for my short halloween vacation. Oh and here's my last after pic of the trip:
Yes the other one is blurry. Anyways, I was testing the camera for a bit and tried it if i can take a picture in the mirror. but it ended up just average. The background is the inside of the cottage where we lived for the past two days.
I'm thanking my friend T for choosing the clothes I wore here in the vacation trip it was funny since we only used little money to buy clothes from. Also she's the person whom i said "One day, if ever I'll hire you to my personal stylist". I know it's weird, but whatever clothes i wore in the trip, it was kind of her ideas. Anyways thanks a lot T.
